Syaifullah Tamliha, the PPP DPP Chair, clarified that the party has not formally proposed Jokowi as a candidate for caketum.
“That is Pak Jokowi’s political right to make PSI as his political vehicle. PPP institutionally also has never proposed to Pak Jokowi into a PPP caketum,” Tamliha told reporters on Sunday (6/8/2026).
