The latest Jawa 42 carries soft pastel nuances through the classic ivory color. The calm tone gives a minimalist and elegant impression, without losing its retro character. All over the body there are contrasting ’42’ number graphics, stylized lettering on the tank and stern, as well as a tear-drop style tank which is a characteristic of classic motorbikes.
If Royal Enfield is synonymous with a strong classic British aura, the Jawa 42 actually plays in retro-racer territory. The design is inspired by racing motorbikes from the golden era of the Isle of Man TT. There are touches of retro decals, checkered graphics on the tank, and even an asymmetrical instrument panel which makes it look different.
The latest Jawa 42 uses a double cradle frame with a curb weight of around 184 kg. The dimensions are quite proportional: length 2,071 mm, width 833 mm, height 1,065 mm, wheelbase 1,369 mm, and ground clearance 165 mm. The seat height is 788 mm, friendly enough for the majority of Asian riders.

Like a ‘rod’ motorbike, the features embedded in the Jawa 42 are not designed to be as sophisticated as an automatic motorbike. However, this does not mean that these vehicles are outdated.
The manufacturer has equipped it with full LED lighting, a digital instrument panel with a circular model and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system or ABS.
Machine

The latest Jawa 42 is equipped with a 294 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, J-Panther engine. This machine is capable of producing maximum power of 27.32 PS and peak torque of 26.84 Nm. The power is channeled through a six-speed manual transmission with assist and slipper clutch.
