Istanbul Hotel Deaths: 2 Dutch Teenagers Found Dead | Pilu

Two Dutch teenagers were found dead in their hotel room in Istanbul, Türkiye. Their father had to be hospitalized because he was shocked. Turkish media reported that the initial suspicion led to the food restaurant they ate.

The two young men, aged 15 and 17 years, have died when the police and paramedics arrived at the hotel where they were staying, in the Fatih District, near Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, according to the NTV television channel.

“When they arrived, the ambulance paramedics recorded the two children had died. The father was taken to the hospital with an ambulance in a state of shock,” NTV reported, reported by the news agency AFPSaturday (8/23/2025).

The three are on vacation in Türkiye and are believed to have gone to the Taksim tourist district for dinner, reporting the Turkish media.

However, the 57 -year -old father told the police that he went with two of his sons to the taxi, “But not eating”, reported the Haber Turk news agency.

In the evening, after returning to the hotel, the father called his children, who did not respond. A hotel employee, Mehmet Kirdag, heard his father screaming for help, NTV reported.

“When I knocked on the door and entered, his two sons had died, one of them was in bed, the other on the floor … when paramedics arrived, the two young men were dead. The father was shocked,” Kirdag said.

Istanbul Police have begun an investigation of this incident, NTV reported.
