Iranian Aggression & Gulf Security: A New Independence

by Archynetys News Desk

His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, confirmed that the Iranian aggression against the Arab Gulf states carries profound geopolitical repercussions, and establishes the Iranian threat as a major axis in Gulf strategic thought, thus enhancing the specificity of Gulf security and its independence from traditional concepts of Arab security.

Gargash explained that the missiles, drones, and aggressive rhetoric are all of Iranian origin, noting that these developments will necessarily lead to strengthening national capabilities, strengthening the joint Gulf security system, and strengthening security partnerships with the United States.

He added that what the region is witnessing today represents the direct cost of Iranian miscalculations, indicating that Tehran’s aggressive policies have only deepened its isolation and pushed the Gulf states to greater cohesion and security coordination in the face of escalating threats.

His Excellency said in a blog post on the social media platform “X”: “The brutal Iranian aggression against the Arab Gulf countries carries profound geopolitical repercussions, and the Iranian threat establishes a major axis in Gulf strategic thought, and enhances the specificity of Gulf security and its independence from traditional concepts of Arab security. The missiles, marches, and aggressive rhetoric are Iranian. The result is towards strengthening our national capabilities, common Gulf security, and strengthening our security partnerships with Washington… this is the cost of Iranian miscalculations.”
