Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point after the United States launched an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. The aftermath has seen a flurry of reactions, military responses, and political statements from key players in the region and around the world.

Following the US strike, a post on the social network X, linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, declared, “Now the war began.” Hazam al-Assad, a leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, warned that “Washington will face the consequences.”

The Iranian government has downplayed the impact of the bombing on the Fordo Uranium enrichment plant. Mehdi Mohammadi, advisor to the president of the Islamic Advisory Assembly, stated that the site had been evacuated and there was no irreversible damage. “Nothing exceptional has happened,” he wrote, adding, “Whoever bets this time, without a doubt, will lose.”

From Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voiced his support for the American offensive and publicly praised Donald Trump for his decision. “Peace through force,” he wrote on X, noting it was a phrase he and the US president often shared.

In a video statement,Benjamin Netanyahu thanked donald Trump for joining the offensive against Iran,saying the decision “will change the story.” He stated, “Congratulations, President Trump. His bold decision to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with the imposing and fair power of the United States The story will change.”

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that the attacks demonstrate that the United States “will not stop at any illegality or crime” to support Israel. The Iranian government stated that both the United States and Israel “enjoy permanent membership in the Security Council” but “They are not subject to any principle or morality.”

Military Actions and Reactions

The American offensive against Iran involved the use of the B-2 bombers, stealth aircraft equipped with anti-bunker bombs capable of penetrating the defenses of Iranian nuclear facilities, especially the heavily fortified Fordo site.

The B-2 Spirit bomber is designed for precision attacks against highly fortified objectives.

Following the announcement of the bombing, Donald Trump received praise from Republican legislators and some Democrats, such as John Fetterman. However, the decision has reignited the debate on whether a president can order military action without Congressional approval.

Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries have accused Trump of acting without a strategy and endangering the United States. Some senators are pushing for a resolution that would require Congressional approval before the United States declares war on Iran or takes specific military measures.

The Israeli army reported that its Air Force launched an offensive against Iranian military facilities in western Iran, responding to missile launches against Israeli cities. A spokesman indicated that they also attacked missile launchers prepared for new strikes against Israel, and also Iranian military personnel. These operations occurred shortly after an attack from Iran.

The Iranian armed forces claimed they launched a new offensive against multiple targets in Israel,including the Ben Gurion International airport,in response to the US bombings. according to a statement,the operation involved long-range missiles with significant destructive power,targeting a Biological Research Centre,Logistics Bases,and command and control centers.

The Magen David Adom rescue institution reported that eleven people were injured, one seriously, after the missile attack launched from Iran against Israel. The public channel Kan 11 showed images of significant damage in central Israel, including buildings with destroyed facades.

The Israeli army reported that two waves of missiles were detected being fired from Iran into their territory. Sirens sounded in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv,and strong explosions were heard. The Interior Front Command activated alerts in the north and center of the country, urging residents to go to shelters. Israeli forces stated that their defensive systems were intercepting projectiles.

The Iran’s atomic energy organization described the American attack against the facilities of fordo, Natanz and Isfahán as “wild” and asserted that the advancement of the nuclear industry in Iran will continue.
