Naseer Zadeh said in an interview with the local news agency “The Youth Journalists Club” affiliated with the official television, that Iran “was not facing Israel alone.”
He said: “In the 12 -day war, we were not facing an ordinary threat. This is the truth. Behind this war, America was present with all its strength, and some European and Western countries were also present, from logistical and bronze.”
He added: “Therefore, I think we were facing the strongest military power in the world. In such circumstances, there was definitely a difference (in power), but in the battlefield is not only the number and equipment. There are other indicators that we used to determine the battlefield and we succeeded in managing it.”
The Iranian Minister of Defense continued: “If the war lasted 15 days instead of 12, in the last three days, they may not have (the Israelis) to repel any missile. The defense is not easy. It could not be like shooting from a machine gun.”
“Their defensive systems are so huge and so large that when they fired their missiles and run out, re -downloading missiles takes a long time and is very expensive.”
He said: “Can you launch several missiles from the Patriot system to bring down one warhead? This is not easy, but it is almost impossible.
In the same context, the minister said that Iran “established military factories in some countries”, without revealing its identity.
He said: “We have very good relations with countries that have political and defensive relations with us. We have an exchange of weapons, we sell and buy. Of course, this does not mean that we buy because we need them, but it is a common thing between countries. We exchange and benefit from the capabilities of each other technological and industrial.”
He continued: “As I said, sometimes it is not good for us to create a factory, so we go and buy, in this way we meet our needs, and there are some countries in which we created an infrastructure for the defensive industry.
