The International Criminal Police Institution (Interpol) maintains a “red notice” system to alert member countries about internationally wanted fugitives. Currently, 72 Brazilians appear on this list, including seven women wanted for crimes ranging from international drug trafficking to homicide and torture.

The most recent addition to the list is Federal Deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), placed at the request of the Federal Police (PF) following a determination by the Supreme Court (STF).

Deputy Zambelli was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the STF for the invasion of an electronic device and reportedly left Brazil after the conviction. She stated on Tuesday, June 3rd, that she was in the United states and planned to travel to Italy, where she holds citizenship. Minister Alexandre de Moraes issued an order for the deputy’s preventive arrest the following day.

According to Interpol, Thaynara Caroline Pereira dos Santos, born on july 27, 1996, is wanted at the request of Argentine police for criminal association and debit/credit card fraud.

Heloisa gonçalves Duque Soares Ribeiro

Heloisa Gonçalves Duque Soares Ribeiro, born on March 13, 1950, is also known as the “Black Widow.” She received this nickname after being convicted of causing the death of one of her five partners. Interpol seeks her for murder and torture.

MARIA JUSSARA DA CONCEIÇÃO FERREIRA SANTOS

Born on February 7, 1973, Maria Jussara was added to Interpol’s red list in 2018.She is wanted for being a member of a criminal organization and is suspected of involvement in the deaths of two CCP leaders.

Silvana seeders

Silvana Seidler, born on October 13, 1966, is wanted for qualified homicide and corpse concealment. According to the Santa Catarina Civil Police, she murdered her 7-year-old daughter in 2015. The girl’s body was found in a cardboard box with signs of abuse. Silvana has been on the run since. She has brown eyes and is 1.65m tall.
