In a statement, the FGR highlighted that under the leadership of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), experts from the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), with the participation of the Railway Safety Regulatory Agency, carried out the information extraction of the black box of the locomotive, which is protected in an evidence warehouse.
He indicated that, as part of the interview process, personnel from the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) delivered the appearance of the Railway Legal Representative of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in which evidence was provided that was annexed to the investigation.

The FGR emphasized that the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office (FECOR), in coordination with the Undersecretariat of Human Rights of the Interior and the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims (CEAV), monitors the health status of people who remain hospitalized.
It also carries out work to establish contact with the victims, both injured and those who were unharmed, and with relatives of the deceased.
The agency stressed that the procedures carried out with federal and state authorities are aimed at guaranteeing comprehensive reparation for the damage to the victims and their families, as well as the purpose of clarifying the facts.
