Intel Core Ultra 3: CES 2026 Launch Rumors

Intel has confirmed that the much-awaited Panther Lake processor family will be unveiled at CES in early 2026.

As @momomo_us pointed out, Intel is planning to unveil the new Core Ultra Series 3 processors on January 5th, 2026, and since there is essentially a panther in the footage of the event, it’s quite likely that it’s Panther Lake.

The debut of the architecture in question will be one of the most important consumer events of 2026, as it will be the first processor family to use Intel’s cutting-edge 18A manufacturing technology, with innovations such as RibbonFET and PowerVia. It also brings significant architectural improvements (P/E-core design, Celestial Xe3 iGPU).

Intel will use a minimally modified naming scheme this time around, introducing the ‘Core Ultra X’ branding, which is said to be reserved for SKUs that have the full 12-core Xe3 iGPU. These models will range from Core Ultra 9 to Core Ultra 5 SKUs.
