The parents of a 16-year-old boy living in Bragança, who died after being run over by a vehicle whose driver was blinded by the sun, appealed to the Guimarães Court of Appeal.

The Court of Appeal of Guimarães fifixed at 200 thousand euros the compensation to be paid to the parents of a 16-year-old boy, killed by being run over, in December 2018 in Nogueira, Bragança, reports the Newspaper.

The vehicle insurer, not identified in the TRG ruling, had filed an appeal against the previous decision. He will now have to pay 20,000 euros to compensate for the young man’s pain before he died, 100,000 for his death and 80,000 for non-pecuniary damage caused to his parents.
