Synopsis: Act 1
Giselle, a village girl, and Count Albrecht, who pretends to be a villager, are in love.
One day, a group of nobles visited the village, and Giselle entertained a beautiful noblewoman, Bathilde.
She was Albrecht’s fiancée.
Moriman Hilarion, who has feelings for Giselle, realizes Albrecht’s true identity.
He reveals in front of everyone that he is actually a noble.
Giselle is so shocked that she goes insane and kills herself with Albrecht’s sword.
