ING Group NV has completed two significant risk transfers linked to €10.5 billion ($12.1 billion) worth of corporate loans, boosting its capital buffer.
The SRTs are expected to lift the lender’s CET1 ratio by 0.14 percentage points, it said in a statement on Monday. Bloomberg News reported in June that ING was in talks with investors about two separate SRTs tied to portfolios of about €5 billion each.
