A driver on the Madrid-Aranjuez Cercanías line whose train, apparently, has suffered a delay in service, has not hesitated to explain very clearly through the convoy’s loudspeakers the reason for said delay.
“I am going to explain to you the reason for the delay of this train. Due to the latest train accidents, and after multiple complaints, they are realizing that the infrastructure is not in the best condition and they are reducing speed at many points on the road. Let’s hope that everything is resolved as soon as possible and we can travel and work in the safe conditions that we all deserve. Sorry for the inconvenience,” he is heard saying in a video recorded by a user and shared by the Herald of Aranjuez.
A break detected on the high-speed track as it passes through Espluga de Francolí (Tarragona) has forced Adif to reduce the speed of the trains at 80 kilometers per hour during a section of the route, which is causing delays of up to an hour in the service. As confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Transport, the incident does not endanger the circulation of convoys and the necessary interventions have already been carried out since Sunday night, when it was notified.
