Mexico City. The PAN’s request to suspend the event for the anniversary of the 4T was rejected.

The Complaints and Complaints Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE) resolved that the “Sheinbaum Fest 2025”, as mentioned by the complainant, scheduled for this Saturday, “does not represent imminent damage to a current or future electoral process, that is, there is no urgency in the issuance of the precautionary measure.”

The party argued in its complaint that there is personalized promotion, improper use of public resources and violation of the principles of legality, neutrality and impartiality attributed to the President of the Republic.

The above, derived from the statements made in the morning conference on November 24, in which he made reference to the reported event.

After a preliminary analysis, the referee determined unanimously that the requested precautionary measures cannot be issued, because “it is inappropriate to suspend the execution and dissemination of the reported event.”

The request for a precautionary measure was also inadmissible in its aspect of preventive protection, regarding urging the Government of the Republic to refrain from using public resources for the implementation, and those who are responsible, to contract or disseminate actions with the intention of influencing the public spirit.

Regarding the improper use of public resources, this factor will be analyzed by the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF).
