A helicopter carrying Hindu pilgrims crashed in India,resulting in the deaths of all seven people on board. The tragic accident occurred shortly after takeoff, according to officials, during what was intended to be a brief, 10-minute flight.

The crash took place in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. The helicopter was en route from Kedarnath temple town to Guptkashi,a notable Hindu pilgrimage destination nestled in the Himalayas.
