Illinois National Guard: Use Restrictions & Future Status

According to the US Armed Forces, a total of about 500 national guards have been sent in Chicago Illinois.

In the United States, the Court of Appeal decided on Saturday that hundreds of National Guard troops sent to Chicago may remain in Illinois. Instead, troops cannot be used for service.

The decision of the Court of Appeal mainly confirmed the decision of the lower court to stop the president Donald Trump Sending the National Guard to Illinois.

The Trump Administration had appealed to the Court of Appeal from the decision of the lower court. The administration was essential to protect the ICE workers and their workspaces in the third most populous city in Chicago in the United States.

According to the US Armed Forces, 200 national guards have been sent to Texas and 300 Illinois states. The mobilization of the troops was to last for 60 days.
