IDR 6.6T Cash Seized: Handover to Government

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) will hand over money worth IDR 6.6 trillion, to be precise IDR 6,625,294,190,469.74, the proceeds from saving state finances to the government on Wednesday (24/12/2025) afternoon.

Based on Kompas.com’s observations at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) Roundhouse at 13.00 WIB, piles of Rp. 100,000 denominations were arranged in the lobby of the building.

The money, packaged in plastic, was arranged to form a hallway from the lobby to the AGO’s Special Crimes Building (Pidsus).

The pile of money was unloaded from the box car and moved using a trolley by TNI members.

The lobby area has also begun to be sterilized by the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres).

Based on the invitation, the money handover ceremony is scheduled to take place at 15.00 WIB.

President Prabowo Subianto is planned to attend the event directly.

The President will be accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.

Apart from that, this event will also be attended by Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni, Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto, and National Police Chief General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
