The nineties probably set up the climax of the unbounded Celebrity Culture lined, fueled by an apparently never ending flood of paparazzi photos, which flooded the tabloid press. And quite a few celebrities saw their everyday life very limited by the intrusive crowd of photographers who followed them at every turn. Only logically that from time to time the waves hit up. However, the incident shown here is a staged stunt as part of the advertising promo of the MTV Movie Awards 2005. It is still a beautiful picture.

Russian President Boris Jelzin was never anyone who strictly adhered to any rules of conduct. Countless anecdotes circulate via its spontaneous pranks (whether under the influence of alcohol or not). So nobody was too amazed when he spontaneously climbed onto the stage of a rock show during an election campaign event in Rostow on Don to swing his leg. It was only later that it turned out that he had suffered a heart attack a few days earlier.
“Slowly I like it here in England”
London, June 18, 1963

Let’s cite the caption of the press release at the time: “The American heavyweight boxer Cassius Clay (later Muhammad Ali, 1942–2016) relaxes with his friends Brenda Howell, Norma Lindo, Kathleen O’Flahery and Hallie Hemmings in his London hotel room.” Later on the same day, Ali competed against the British Henry Cooper – as is well known, one of only four fights in his career, in which he was officially hit the ground by his opponent. Ali won after the referee had broken off the fight in the fifth round because Cooper bleed a lot due to a wound on the left eye.

Paris, bis given

What is meant is Norman Bates’ mother from the horror classic “Psycho” (1960)-or at least her skull. The famous French film curator Henri Langlois received this as a gift because “Psycho” director Alfred Hitchcock assumed that an American museum would “probably sell or lose”. The prop now can be viewed in the Paris Musée de la Cinémathèque.

Why did this photo get the title “Bowler Has” (= melon)? Look closely! Seen? Well, the fact that the gentleman in the background was just walking past at that perfect moment was a coincidence. The Yardbirds, the legendary blues rock band that was considered a talent factory for later rock sizes. Eric Clapton, such as the guitarist of the Yardbirds, became famous for the first time. And when he left the band, he was replaced with the no less legendary guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck. Later there was a certain Jimmy Page, who would later reach Superstar status with LED Zeppelin. In the famous band photo of Food shown here, we see The Yardbirds in her line -up from 1966: Jim McCarty, Chris Dreja, Keith Relf, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck (VL).

Bordeaux, October 30, 2013
Photo: Facebook
“And? How was the party? “
«Oh, nothing special. We freed a lama from his cage in the Cirque Franco Italy and then took it to the exit. »
So the unlikely and completely true premise of the events of the night from October 30, 2013 in Bordeaux, France.
The Lama kidnapped by five students was spontaneously christened Serge (after the French singer Serge Lama), went for a walk, went on a tram trip and got something to eat and drink on the way. Some pictures were posted on social media, and Serge was finally brought back to his circus intact. A few days later, the five buddies were arrested by the police, but soon released again after the circus owner had withdrawn his complaint when he had recognized the advertising effect of this spontaneous campaign.
And that on a desolate Wednesday evening – imagine how their Saturday evening will have to go!

On her tour by Great Britain, singer Debbie Harry von Blondie invited to a “Ladies’ Tea Party” in the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London. At that time there was still the opinion that there was only space for a female star in every music genre. If another woman appeared, she had to fight for the title of the Queen of Pop/Soul/Disco/Punk, according to the way of thinking. Harry was careful to correct this prejudice: “I really wanted to get together with all my favorite punk women to celebrate for an afternoon.” Here is the souvenir photo with Debbie Harry (Blondie), Viv Albertine von The Slits, Siouxsie Sioux by Siouxsie and the Banshees, Chrissie Hynde by the Preters, Poly Styrene from the X-Ray Spex and Pauline Black by the Selecter (from above).

«Dressed or rather undressed […] Curried to the emperor with unshakable calm. A magnificent collier, huge earrings and some jewelry formed the main components of the costume of the beautiful Italian, who the empress, trembling before indignation, pointed out of the Saale. »
Here is the imposing name (see above) Countess of Castiglione, who, because of their intelligence and beauty The pearl of Italy became known, but only among friends Niche was named. The above anecdote was said to have happened in 1856 at a festival in the Palais of Tuilerie in Paris when the young Tuscan aristocrat in a diplomatic mission to the French Kaiserhof Napoleon III. had been sent. The political liaison soon developed into an amorous that was only ended after two years after the love affair became public. «I never try anything. I just do it »
Cuddleback Lake, Kalifornien, 1965.
Bild: imdb.com
Due to his obsessive preference for busty leading actors, filmmakers Russ Meyer was dismissed as a cheap soft porn director throughout his life. However, although his films were always made with the smallest budget, the cinematic quality was never under question. «Faster, pussycat! Kill! Kill! ” (1965) remains Meyer’s most famous film, known for his iconic visual language, for the violent depictions and for provocative gender roles, which at that time – whether intended or not – was made a subversive feminist statement. The outstanding performance provides the main actress Tura Satana shown here in the picture as the Porsche-driving men who are beating, poorly brownish leader. A performance that, according to director Russ Meyer went far beyond drama, she made a significant contribution to the visual style of production and to the script – not least with a wealth of tremendous dialog lines (as the one listed above).

Picture: Dafokdoikno
Before Johnny Cash hit his successful career as a country singer, he served in the US Air Force for four years. During this time he was assigned to the 12th Radio Squadron Mobile of the USAF intelligence service in Landsberg am Lech in West Germany, where he worked as a Morsefunker and caught radio sayings of the Soviet army. It is said that Cash was the first American to receive the news of Joseph Stalin’s death during this activity (transmitted by Morse code). Also during this time he was sent to the US-Air Force base in Bari in Italy for a short time. Very little is known about Cash’s time in Italy because he never spoke about what some biographers prompted to call his stay there as a “secret mission”. However, he was not complete undercover because the above photo exists.
