KOMPAS.com – A Chinese robotics startup called DroidUp makes humanoid robots that have very human-like faces. This robot, named Moya, can walk and blink like a real human.
DroidUp recently showcased Moya in Shanghai, claiming it is the world’s first biomimetic intelligent robot because it is able to imitate the way humans move and interact physically.
Rather than pursuing speed or strength, this robot is designed to prioritize natural interactions and stable movements.
Technically, Moya was designed with an embodied approach artificial intelligence (AI), namely an artificial intelligence system that not only processes information digitally, but is also able to understand the environment, make decisions and act directly in the real world.

Based on the video shared by the Zoom Vantage channel on YouTube, Moya appears in a white jumpsuit. Her hair is long and loose and wrapped in shawl peach.
Her face also looks beautiful like a real person, complete with a touch of lipstick and other cosmetics.
The same video shows that Moya can smile, glance, nod, make eye contact, wink, and even walk with a sway like a woman, even though he still looks very stiff.
This ability makes Moya superior to other humanoid robots, because some of these micro expressions are quite difficult for robots to carry out flexibly.
DroidUp claims that this robot is able to imitate human micro-expressions and walk like a human with 92 percent accuracy. Even though his movements still look quite stiff, they are not as flexible as humans.
Moya, a humanoid robot made by a Chinese startup that can blink, smile, walk and nod like a humanMoya, which is wrapped in silicone material, is designed to be 1.65 meters tall and weigh around 32 kilograms, almost like an adult.
DroidUp claims that this robot can maintain its temperature between 32-36 degrees Celsius, to be similar to normal human temperature, especially when interacting with real people.
Other details regarding Moya have not been revealed further. What is clear, DroidUp hopes that Moya can be used in various sectors such as health care, education, and other commercial environments that require interaction.

It is estimated that Moya will be sold at the end of 2026 with prices starting from 1.2 million yen (around Rp. 128 million). However, DroidUp has not specified when its humanoid robot will be commercially available KompasTekno from Interesting Engineering.
