Hong Kong Innovators Showcase tech at VivaTech 2025 in Paris

A delegation of Hong Kong startups is making waves at EuropeS largest tech event,highlighting advancements in AI,robotics,and more.


Eighteen hong Kong-based innovators are showcasing their technologies at VivaTech 2025 in Paris, joining the hong kong Tech Pavilion organized by the Hong Kong Trade Growth Council (HKTDC). The delegation, led by Hong Kong Science and technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), represents the region’s strengths in artificial intelligence, robotics, health technology, green technology, and financial technology.

HKSTP aims to connect Hong Kong innovators wiht global markets and support international companies looking to expand in Asia.Their presence at VivaTech offers a platform for collaboration and technology development to address emerging market needs.

Several Hong Kong companies have already received recognition at VivaTech:

  • Ailytics was among the five winners of the EDF Startup Challenge and a Top 30 VivaTech Innovation for its AI-powered video analytics that improve safety and efficiency in heavy industries.
  • AQUMON and Midas Analytics were nominated as Top 12 FinTech Trail companies for their AI-driven data analysis solutions.
  • Imsight,OKOsix,and Vismed are finalists for the Tech for change Award,recognized for their contributions to wellbeing management through cancer diagnostics,biomaterial composition analysis,and medical training solutions.

The event has also facilitated new partnerships between Hong Kong and French entities.

  • Westwell Technology, a provider of smart energy solutions for container logistics, has partnered with European logistics provider Logicor to host an exhibition in Paris showcasing integrated logistics solutions for new energy commercial vehicles and autonomous driving.
  • pointfit,a wearable tech company specializing in non-invasive lactate monitoring,has announced a partnership with Kinomap,a france-based interactive indoor-training app and platform.

HKSTP has also signed an agreement with Startup Genome to foster global ecosystem collaboration through events and networking.

Hong Kong offers deep connectivity, globally fluent talent, as well as trusted legal and financial systems. The ground-breaking technology on show at VivaTech this year highlight the immense potential from connecting global innovation, with Hong Kong serving as an ideal base for innovators with aspirations and ambitions.”

France is focused on driving growth through AI, while Hong Kong is consistently ranked high in the Global Innovation Index by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).This delegation to VivaTech aims to merge the innovation ecosystems of both regions.

HKSTP is also hosting EPIC, a pitching competition offering US$100 million in investment funding. EPIC 2025 is open for applications until June 17, 2025.
