Jack Grealizing Bak ‘Born Born’ since joining Everton this season. The Toffees manager David Moyes said the winger only needs to be given the trust to show the best performance.

Grealizing has contributed four assists to Everton in three appearances. The latest, he helped his team beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 in Molineux in the Premier League continued, Saturday (8/30/2025).

Everton is now in the top five standings with six points. Grealizing, which was borrowed a season from Manchester City, has always been trusted to appear, and even become a starter in the last two matches.

The instant effect of the Birmingham-born player was really beyond Moyes.

“He is even better than what I think. He might need a little affection and attention. He also needs the chance to play. Hopefully he continues to grow and better as the season goes,” Moyes said after bending Wolves, quoted by the BBC.

“He made a big difference. Whether it’s his assistance, his presence, many things. So, all praise for him. He had the chance to play that he might not have in recent years.”

“You know, he is very good. What Jack gave us was something that was on the threshold, which, hopefully, on the threshold of creativity and might score goals.”

But the Scottish coach confirmed that all of that was not because of him, but purely from the determination of Grealizing who was struggling to prove himself.

“This is not because of me, believe me – this is all because of Jack and its own mentality to be better. There must be proven, I am sure – I think we all have it. I think in life, we always have something we have to fight for.”

“And I think Jack wants to show that he’s a good player. I think he is showing it right now,” said Moyes.

Grealizing only became a starter seven times with City last season. He moved to Everton to maintain the opportunity to enter the England national team for the World Cup next year.
