The Ministry of Finance announced an early date for disbursing salaries to workers in the state’s administrative apparatus for the month of March 2026, as part of the measures taken by the government to ease the burdens on employees and enable them to meet their basic needs before the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
This decision comes as part of the state’s plan to make it easier for citizens, especially during seasons and holidays that witness an increase in spending requirements among Egyptian families.

Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk confirmed that the disbursement of salaries for the month of March 2026 will begin on March 16, in a step aimed at supporting state workers before Eid al-Fitr.
The Minister explained that advancing the salary disbursement date comes with the aim of enhancing employees’ purchasing power and helping them provide their basic needs before Eid, stressing that the government is constantly seeking to provide facilities for workers in the state’s administrative apparatus.

Payment of arrears
For his part, Ahmed Haridi, Head of the Accounts and Financial Directorates Sector at the Ministry of Finance, explained that employees’ salaries and the like will be paid for the month of March 2026, starting from March 16, according to the timetable specified by the Ministry. He pointed out that the Ministry also decided to disburse the financial arrears for the month of February during the 8th, 9th and 10th of March, in order to ensure that workers receive all their financial dues in a timely manner.

He stressed that the Ministry of Finance is working to implement a group of facilitation programs and government initiatives aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens, in addition to ensuring the regular disbursement of financial dues to workers on the specified dates, while continuing communication and coordination with all government agencies to ensure the smooth implementation of disbursement operations, in a way that preserves workers’ rights and reduces pressure on places where salaries are paid.
