Norway offers many winning chances before the prize sprinkling – and got a really good charge the night before.

Before long, things are going wild in Beverly Hills. The distribution itself does not start until 02 Norwegian time, but the guests started pouring in even before 10 p.m.
Dancer and “Dancing With The Stars” celebrity Derek Hough really turned up the charm in front of the photographers and danced both on the runner and up the stairs.
An enormous press contingent had gathered to secure a flash.
According to tradition, the party is also about outfits and glamor – about seeing and being seen.

Joachim Trier’s “Affeksjonsverdi“, or “Sentimental Value” as it is called in English, has been nominated in a total of eight film categories and is considered one of the big favourites.
Never before has a Norwegian film received so many nominations for the Golden Globe awards.

Nikki Glaser (41) is the hostess of the party, which takes place in Los Angeles, specifically at The Beverly Hilton. The TV celebrity is open that it requires a lot.
– There are people who can do that with little or no preparation, because they are just so skilled. I am not among them. I look at it like it was the Olympics. You only get one chance, she says to Vanity Fair.

Norwegian triumph yesterday
“Affeksjonsverdi” has raked in a bunch of nominations for a number of awards and has already won awards.
As recently as yesterday, Saturday, it walked away with two trophies – for Best International Film and Best Foreign Language Film – at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills.
Both Trier (51) and the actors were there, Renate Reinsve (38), Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (36), Stellan Skarsgaard (74) and Elle Fanning (27).
Tonight, the stage is thus set for an even bigger party.
The Golden Globe Awards – the 83rd in a row – are the second highest awarded film award after the Oscar Awards.
In the category of best film drama, “Affeksjonsverdi” competes against, among others, “Sinners” and “Hamnet” – which are nominated in seven and six categories respectively.
The film “One Battle After Another” leads with nine nominations – and is the only one with more chances of winning than Norway’s contribution.
