Sacred last December 6 at the Zénith in Amiens,
Hinaupoko Devèze gave Tahiti a historic fifth crown. Favorite noticed throughout the competition, the young woman imposed herself through her naturalness and a presence which never forces the point. A few days after his coronation, our colleagues from Current Woman
met her to discuss her daily life now punctuated by obligations of Miss Francebut also her beauty habits, simple and very personal.
Hinaupoko Devèze reveals behind the scenes of her beauty routine
During this exchange, Hinaupoko Devèze speaks frankly about what makes up his routine. Far from fixed protocols, she talks about adjustments, tests, a balance to be found since her installation in mainland France. If her hair has attracted a lot of attention, another intriguing detail: her perfume. A discreet but assertive signature, which seems accompany each of his steps since his election.
For her, a fragrance is not chosen at random. She talks about this almost emotional bond with Yves Saint Laurent and a specific bottle. “At the moment I particularly appreciate
Free from Yves Saint Laurentwhich my dad gave me”. A perfume which carries a family history and which she associates with a second, discovered more recently during a trip to duty free in New Caledonia, Cosmic by Kylie Jenner. “It’s my symbolic smell, I make a little combo of the two”. A very personal association, which do not leave those around you indifferent. “Every time I get a compliment on my perfume so I’m happy”.
A natural approach claimed by Hinaupoko Devèze
This attention to detail is part of a
broader vision of beautydeeply rooted in its origins. “In Polynesia, we greatly advocate natural beauty”. A sentence that pretty much sums up his relationship with cosmetics. Hinaupoko Devèze favors light makeup, designed to reveal rather than transform. “I like to prepare myself, but from time to time I also like to be natural to let my skin breathe.” A measured approach, far from excess, which she also applies to her daily care.
Since her arrival in France, the Miss admits having to deal with a new climate and a
faster pace. She smiles about it.
“My routine is being rehabilitated”. Despite everything,
certain reflexes remain unchanged. Above all, she takes care to preserve the comfort of her skin, to protect it and to maintain a fresh complexion, without overloading, even on days with high media exposure.
A healthy gesture adopted every morning by Hinaupoko Devèze
But beyond the products, the beauty queen insists on a simple, almost obvious gesture, which she considers to be a
pillar of his balance. “In the morning, I put a ritual in place where I drink lemon water to hydrate well and I try to drink as much water as possible”. A habit inherited from her island lifestyle, which she treasures. Hydration, according to her, contributes as much to the radiance of the skin than general well-being.
Consumed in the morning, lemon is known to stimulate digestion and provide natural dose of vitamin Cuseful for skin radiance. Combined with good water consumption throughout the day, this simple gesture contributes to a fresher complexion and a feeling of general lightness. At Miss France 2026, beauty is therefore neither limited to a bottle nor to a mirror. It is built over time, through simple gestures, attachment to roots and listening to oneself. A consistency faithful to its image, which undoubtedly explains why its appearance is so attractive.
