BUDAPEST – The World Judo OTP Bank Championships in Budapest witnessed a thrilling mixed team competition where team spirit and the fundamental values of judo took center stage. Beyond the medals, the event showcased unity and unforgettable moments as athletes fought for each other.

In the semi-finals, Japan faced a tough challenge against Georgia. While Japan initially gained an advantage, the dynamic projections of Guram Tashishvili and the newly crowned world champion, Eteri Liparteliani, shifted the momentum.
