The new Hotel Arche will be in the top five hotels closest to the airport in Gdańsk.
Hampton by Hilton, Milo, Faros, Hi Hotel – these are hotels currently closest to the Gdańsk airport (although there are more beds, non -Hotel places in the area).
Arche Hotel Airport Gdańsk will join them soon. The object, which will be officially opened on September 5, stands at ul. Słowackiego 197 D.
There are 164 rooms in the hotel. Second Hotel Arche in the Tri -City
Although the hotel developer and at the same time its operator is the Arche network (he also runs the Arche Dwór Uphagena Hotel at Kieturakisa Street in the Lower Town in Gdańsk), the hotel already has a new owner. Interestingly, although Arche’s hotels usually have many co -owners, this time one company became the buyer.
– In the new hotel at the airport in Gdańsk, we sold “wholesale” all rooms to one company and the entire area will now work for her. Although we usually sell individual premises in our Arche system to many investors, I do not rule out that there will also be further investments managed by Arche with one strategic buyer in our portfolio – explains the president of Arche, Władysław Grochowski.
Arche representatives do not reveal who owns the new hotel in Gdańsk, but they point out that it is a Polish investor.
The airport also plans to open its own hotel
The development of hotel services in this part of Gdańsk is directly related to the increase in passenger traffic at the airport Lech Wałęsa. In the first half of the year, 3 million 336 thousand benefited from the airport in Gdańsk. passengers, which means an increase of over 12.1 percent compared to the same period last year. This year, there will be over 7 million passengers at the airport, which is once again a record will be broken in this respect.

Also, the airport itself intends to discount its success and is also planning to build its own hotel near the terminal. It would be part of the emerging business town of “Airport City”. As part of it, the first ALFA office building has already been created (it was put into use in 2022), six more and a hotel were planned.
– According to the plan, the hotel is to be built as the culmination of the Airport City project, i.e. as one of the last buildings that create it, mainly office – informs Michał Dargaczdirector of Airport City at Gdańsk Airport.
However, he reserves that market expectations also affect the development of the airport business town.
– During the preparation for the start of the construction of the second Bravo office building, we had questions whether part of this facility, specifically one floor, could be arranged for a boutique hotel. For now, we have not decided to do it, but it is possible that we will consider it during the construction of another of our buildings.
