Gary Smitherage 87, of Rapid City, SD, died under hospice care, with his children by his side, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 5 at Kirk Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:30. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to sign the online register book.
