Garlasco (Pavia), 15 December 2025 – Those hair nameless in one of the key environments of themurder of Garlasco: the bathroom of the house of Chiara Poggi. Since the inspections of the Ris, carried out between 16 and 20 August 2007are identified seven visible footprintsthem of bloody soles 27 centimeters long: four in hallwayone of the cantina and the bathroom, the others near and above the bathroom carpet.

In the bathroom sink i four “long black” hairs never found and analysed, attributed by sentences to the victim, severed by the violence of the blows inflicted. For the Milan Carabinieri, in the report dated 7 July 2020, addressed to the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office, that hair is of a “diametrically opposite” color to that of Alberto Stasi and “clearly demonstrates that the sink was never cleaned of blood. Otherwise, the hair would have been dragged away”. It’s a crucial step. Among the elements against Stasi include, in fact, the two fingerprints left on the liquid soap dispenser, which would have been left by the murderer while washing his hands and cleaning the sink.

The new investigation
Until today’s investigation opens, you see Andrea Sempio investigated for the second time for the murder of Chiara Poggi, 36 hairs were found at the crime scene, a tuft of 29 in a pool of blood, another 7 between the victim’s fingers. They are between 2.5 and 18 centimeters long. From the only one with a bulb it was possible to extract the nuclear DNA, attributed to Chiara. Mitochondrial DNA was extracted from another 17, also deemed compatible with the victim. In the new investigations, a 3 centimeter long hair whose existence was unknown emerged unexpectedly from the blue garbage bag of the Poggi house.
