Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of a new phone that joins the S, which is the “Galaxy S25 Fe”, which is the latest version in the “Galaxy S25” series. The phone works with the “One UI 8” interface, which includes a group of “Galaxy Ai” intelligence applications.
The name FE added to the name is a shortcut to “Fan Edition”, which Samsung calls the name as a category that is wider in the market for strong performance at lower prices.
Thus, the S25 category contains 5 devices, which are S25, S25 Plus, S 25 Edge, and A 25 Ultra, in addition to the new FE phone.
“The Galaxy S25 Fe” aims to make artificial intelligence experiences available for a wider slice of users.
The new phone offers a number of features based on artificial intelligence, including the “Gemini Live” feature that allows direct visual conversations through which artificial intelligence can analyze what the user sees via the camera and answering the questions related to it. The new features also include the “Now Bar” bar to display information and updates on the lock screen, and the “Circle to Search with Google” feature that allows searching for any element on the screen once a circle is drawn around it.
Provide the phone with a 12 -megapixel front camera, and is supported by the “Provisual Engine” image to improve the quality of images in low light conditions.
The phone includes artificial intelligence -backed editing tools, such as the “Generative Edit” feature that suggests removing unwanted elements from the images, and the “Audio Eraser” feature that works to isolate unwanted sounds or reduce them in videos. The “Instant Slow-Mo” feature also allows the functioning of the slow-touch videos.
Performance and design
The “Galaxy S25 Fe” phone works with a 4,900 mAh battery, and supports 45W wire charging. To improve heat management, the device has been provided with a larger steam cooling room by more than 10% compared to previous versions. As for the structure of the device, it is supported by a frame made of “Armor Aluminum”.
Samsung added its processor of the advanced category “Ecinos” 2400, to carry out the full tasks of the device and give a regular processing capacity, in addition to a tampering screen with a 120 Hz update rate.
The new device will be launched in the global markets as of September 17.
