Fuel Prices: Dominican Republic Subsidy Explained

Santo Domingo.- The vice minister of Internal Trade of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), Ramon Perez Ferminreported that the Government will remain unchanged the prices of fuels for mass use, through the allocation of a subsidy of RD 186.3 millionduring the week of November 29 to December 5, 2025.

In that order, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be subsidized with RD 6.06 per gallon; regular diesel with RD 20.00, and the optimal diesel with RD 14.61.

Fuel prices

for the week from November 29 to December 5 From 2025, fuels will be sold at the following prices:

Premium gasoline will be sold at RD 290.10 per gallon; maintains its price.

Regular gasoline, RD 272.50 per gallon; maintains its price.

Regular diesel, RD 224.80 per gallon; maintains its price.

Optimal diesel, RD 242.10 per gallon; maintains its price.

Avtur, RD 202.26 per gallon; low RD 10.60.

Kerosene, RD 234.20 per gallon; low RD 11.40.

Fuel oil #6, RD 144.74 per gallon; low RD 5.54.

Fuel oil 1%S, RD 161.57 per gallon; low RD 5.36.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), RD 137.20 per gallon; maintains its price.

Natural gas, RD 43.97, per m3; maintains its price.

The weekly average exchange rate is RD 63.06; taken from the daily publications of the Banco Central.
