Florida State linebacker Ethan Pritchard is showing signs of recovery after being shot in late august.Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.


Florida State linebacker Ethan Pritchard has made a significant step in his recovery,opening his eyes on Sunday,weeks after being shot.[[1]], [[2]]

FSU Head Coach Mike Norvell addressed the media on Monday, prior to the team’s game against Kent State, sharing the positive progress in pritchard’s condition.

“Yesterday, he opened his eyes adn it was emotional for everybody to be honest with you,” Norvell said. ” There is still a long road to progress in this process moving forward. Puts this whole thing into viewpoint,and he is fighting.”

Pritchard was shot in the back of the head while dropping off family members at a residence in Havana last month. [[3]]

According to investigators, the shooting appears to be a case of mistaken identity.

Last week, four individuals were apprehended in connection to the shooting. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported that Jayden Bodison, caron Miller, and an unnamed minor face charges including three counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Germany Atkins is charged with one count of probation violation. [[1]], [[2]]

Pritchard is a freshman who played football at Seminole High school in Sanford before joining FSU this year.

He is currently in stable condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
