The government is headed again by Sebastian Lecornu
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced the composition of the new government, headed by Sebastian Lecornu again. This is expected to give a new impetus to domestic policy and meet key challenges to the country.
The decision comes at a time of increasing public tension and the need for more efficient management, with the new cabinet tasked with speeding up reforms and restoring public confidence.
Jean Noel Baro remains Minister of Foreign Affairs. Gerald Darmanin also retains his post as Minister of Justice. Roland Lesseur is also re -appointed as Minister of Finance.
Catherine Votren has been appointed Minister of Defense. Laurent Nunes is the new Interior Minister.
“The mission of this government is to prepare the budget of France before the end of the year. Thank you to the women and men who join this office completely freely – beyond personal and party interests. Only one purpose is important – the interest of the country,” Prime Minister Lecornu wrote after the names of his ministers in his cabinet.
A mission government is appointed to give France a budget before the end of the year.
