The French action film “KO,” starring Ciryl Gane, has become the most-viewed film in France on Netflix, surpassing even “Black Widow” in its debut week.

The French film “KO,” directed by Antoine Blossier, has quickly risen to the top spot as the most-watched film in France on Netflix. “KO” Outperforms “Black Widow”

In “KO,” Director Antoine Blossier tells the story of Bastien, who has lived in seclusion since accidentally killing his opponent, Enzo, three years prior during an MMA fight. Enzo’s widow seeks him out, asking for his help to rescue Léo,her teenage son,who has disappeared in the northern districts of Marseille. Bastien, along with Kenza, a young, determined cop, embarks on a search to take down the city’s new crime bosses.

Bastien is his only hope to rescue Léo, his teenage son who disappeared in the northern districts of Marseille.

In the French Top 10 films, “KO” dethroned “Black Widow.” Similar to the thriller inspired by a news story in Spain in 2017, “Asterix & Obelix: the Empire of the Middle” slipped one position but remains in the top three. The new releases “At the end” and “A French,” a film with Alban Lenoir, Samuel Jouy, and Paul Hamy that was released a decade ago, secured the 4th and 6th positions, respectively.

On the series front, “Ginny & Georgia” dominated the French Top 10, occupying three spots. Season 3 of the mother-daughter series debuted in first place, pushing the previous two seasons down the list. Season 1 landed in 7th and 9th place. Elsewhere in the rankings, “The Forgotten Files,” an adaptation of Jussi Adler-Olsen’s “Department V” book series, climbed from 4th to 2nd place this week. “Sara – Shadow Woman” rounded out the top three. Six weeks after its release,”Asterix & Obelix: the fight of chefs” remains in the Top 10.
