Fort Worth Shooting: Arrest Made in Stop Six Park Deaths

An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in a park in December, Fort Worth police said in a statement.

Ricco Henderson was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Saturday, according to jail records. He faces a murder charge and, as of Sunday afternoon, his bond was set at $750,000.

Officers heard the first gunshots around 2:13 p.m. while working near the park in the 1500 block of Liberty Street on December 29.

Later, they found a woman, identified as Cyanna Boone, 17 years oldwith multiple gunshot wounds on the ground.

Boone died at the scene around 2:43 p.m., according to Tarrant County medical examiner records. Investigators believe a group of 15 to 20 people were in the park when an argument turned into a fight.. Someone in the crowd, presumably Henderson, pulled out a gun and fired.

Another person, who has not been identified, was also found shot to death. in a vehicle in the 1700 block of Handley Drive around 2:18 p.m., according to police. Police believe the shootings are related.

Officers found the second shooting victim inside a vehicle parked at the scene. They were rushed to a local hospital, but died shortly after, according to police.

At that time, police reported that someone was seen running away from the vehicle where the second victim was found. The person was later located in a nearby house. Authorities did not identify the person or say whether he was arrested.

No further information about the incident was immediately available.
