SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – The future of Springfield’s new courthouse is moving forward as 10 proposals have now been submitted for the new site of the Roderick Ireland Courthouse.
The city has been working to get a new courthouse after toxic mold was found throughout the current building and several employees complained about health issues for years.
The state’s Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) will now review the proposals. They include a range of locations, including Main Street, Chestnut, State, Liberty Street, and others.
The list of proposals, as released by DCAMM, appears below:
