It has been known for several months that Apple TV is the exclusive Formula 1 streaming partner in the USA. Shortly before the 2026 Formula 1 season starts, Apple has expanded the Apple TV app to include a special Formula 1 content series. There, fans can already find a selection of video contributions to help prepare for the start of the season – including highlights, previews, rule changes and reviews of the past season.

Apple TV prepares Formula 1 fans for the season
Even though we are still several weeks away from the start of the 2026 Formula 1 season – the first race will take place on March 8, 2026 – Apple is getting its users in the USA in the mood for the upcoming season. The new section entitled “Get Ready for Formula 1 on Apple TV” includes the following videos, among others:

- Sprint Schedule
- F1 Academy Schedule

The content can be accessed directly in the Apple TV app, so that users can find out about the teams, rules and highlights of the new season in advance of the new season – including background information and reviews of the development of the sport.
Incidentally, Apple TV was able to conclude a five-year exclusive streaming contract for all Formula 1 races. However, the contract only applies to transmission in the USA.
