Inspiration and Influences: From Clash of Clans to Hero Shooters

Despite some comparisons to other titles, the creative director of Football Heroes League has cited Supercell, the creators of Clash of Clans, as a major source of inspiration. In an interview published on the Epic Games Store, the director also mentioned a conscious effort to emulate the character design found in manga. While fundamentally a soccer game, the developers appear to have drawn inspiration from hero shooters like Marvel Rivals, blending genres to create a unique experience.
