A Florida man placed his trust in the auction of a container in a bid online in the Peterson Park neighborhood of Chicago. However, he ended up totally disappointed to discover that the content was not what he had been promised: dozens of products were missing. The Chicago Police explained the reasons.
The man, a resident of the Sunshine State, told CBS who thought he had won the deal of a lifetime by acquiring a storage facility in the northwest of the city located in Illinois, but all His expectation collapsed when he slid the door: the content did not look even a bit like the photos on the internet.
The containers were much emptier and there was an explanation. According to Chicago police, Between August 31 and September 4, two men stole most of the collection trains that were in that unit.
The subject, identified as Ray Margarit, assured that When he made the purchase there were “at least 500 collectible trains”and said he believed the thieves knew what they were looking for when breaking into this abandoned cargo: “We’ve been doing this for 22 years, and this is really the first time it’s happened,” he said.
