NAPOLI – The minor son is stopped on a scooter without a license or insurance, the father lashes out at the police and is reported. It happened last night around 9pm when the soldiers of the Poggioreale station stopped a 17-year-old riding a Honda 150 cc while he was traveling through the streets of the eastern district of Naples.
The boy never obtained the required driving license and the vehicle does not have insurance: he is a minor and for this reason the police accompany him to the barracks and contact his father. While the traffic code fines are being filled out, the 17-year-old’s father arrives: the man, a 51-year-old worker, flies into a rage and takes it out on the police who are guilty of stopping their son rather than thinking about serious things.
Anger turns into insults and in the end the 51-year-old, who holds a pen as if it were a weapon, is blocked. The situation calms down with the arrival of other gazelles and the 118 personnel alerted as a precaution. No one will seek medical treatment.
The 51-year-old was reported for resisting a public official. The scooter was seized.
