After it was closed on January 13th due to falling rocks, the Municipal Civil Protection Service closed again, for the same reasons, Rua 5 de Outubro, in Funchal, between the intersection of Viveiros and Rua da Ponte Nova.
In addition to cars, circulation is prohibited for pedestrians. It is only possible to drive between the Viveiros roundabout and the Bairro dos Viveiros area, where drivers are forced to turn left.
