Since the beginning of the war, the Internet has become another battlefield between Israeli-American and Iranian propaganda. News.bg already wrote about the animated videos that the parties in the conflict use – including “Lego” – but lately a new fashion has emerged, mainly among the younger generations on Tik-Tok and Instagram.
In it, people faced with small, helpless or funny situations – such as failing a test, breaking a nail or having car trouble – ask Benjamin Netanyahu for help by shouting to the universe.
The obvious satire is most often seen while driving, especially when one car cuts into another. The meme (or mime, depending on your preference) is called “Save me/help me, Netanyahu”. Sometimes pranksters promise to give their lives to Israel if Bibi helps them.

AI-based disinformation can have real consequences
Among one of the most popular clips, we see a driver driving behind a red pick-up as he shouts: “Benjamin Netanyahu, the new Ayatollah was unveiled in front of me in a red Ford Ranger that just cut me off. If you can hear me, please send every available Israeli F-35 to my location so we can establish air superiority and send him the hell where he belongs.”
The Israeli media have already written about the subject, not forgetting to point out that such videos are anti-Semitic in nature.
According to posts on the web, the trend started in Iran when anti-government protesters jokingly chanted for help from Israel’s prime minister to deal with their corrupt regime. They often address Netanyahu with nicknames: Bibi and Big Yahoo.
