During His Visit To Poland Today, Rishi Sunak…

by drbyos

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is leaving for Poland today, where he will announce a further 500 million British pounds ($617 million) in military aid and the supply of more ammunition to Ukraine, which faces an “existential threat”, he said in statement the office of the British leader, quoted by France Press.

Sunak will meet his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, to discuss the war in Ukraine and broader European security, BTA reported.

The visit comes at a time when Kiev is asking its allies to increase their military aid, in particular by supplying ammunition, which is essential to repel Russian attacks.

After long and difficult negotiations, the US House of Representatives voted on Saturday a massive $61 billion military aid package for Kiev.

“Defending Ukraine from Russia’s brutal ambitions is vital for our security and for all of Europe,” Sunak said in a statement.

If Putin wins “this war of aggression, he will not stop at the border with Poland”, warned the British Prime Minister.

Sunak will announce from Poland a “significant increase” in Britain’s support for Ukraine, including additional military aid worth £500m and “the largest ever delivery of vital military equipment”.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak assured on Monday that everything is “ready” to send asylum seekers from the United Kingdom to Rwanda, “whatever happens”. According to him, the first flights will depart within ten to twelve weeks. The controversial bill is still blocked in the British Parliament.

The British government has long been planning to send undocumented migrants who cannot return to their home country to Rwanda. She has the Kigali agreement for this, but the plan is encountering domestic resistance. The British Supreme Court shot down the plan because Rwanda cannot be considered a safe country, after which Prime Minister Sunak amended the law, which was devised by his predecessor Boris Johnson.

The government’s plan is stuck in a ping-pong game between the two houses of parliament. The House of Commons will debate the plans again on Monday, and the bill could be voted on again.

Whatever happens, the flights will continue anyway, Sunak emphasizes. He said this at a press conference at which he presented the means used by the government to organize the deportations.

Dallas’ suffocation in the second quarter, the second worst record recorded in a playoffs since 2015 -the milestone in a single quarter is 7, at the hands of the Celtics against the Hawks in 2016-, heading to the fourth worst to the break -the limit there is 27, the work of the Suns against the Mavs in 2022-, it was too big a burden despite the positive reaction that allowed them to make up the score after going losing 29 points at the entrance to the last period.

Al Bilad Newspaper Khamenei On The Attack On…

Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei ignored the Isfahan attack that targeted sites in Iran last Friday, and commented on the Iranian attacks on Israel, saying, “What is important is to show our strength, not the number of missiles or targets.” According to what Iranian media reported on Sunday.

“Learn the enemy’s methods”

Khamenei called on Iranian forces to “innovate” and “learn the enemy’s methods.”

Rose bodice

This comes about a week after an Iranian attack with hundreds of drones and missiles targeting military sites inside Israel, which came as a response to the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus and resulted in the killing of 16 people, including 7 Revolutionary Guard commanders, most notably Mohammad Reza Zahedi, commander of the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.

Khamenei’s statements also came two days after an attack on Isfahan, in which Iranian sites were subjected to attacks that were not claimed by Israel, and Tehran did not press charges against Tel Aviv.

The Iranian “Tasnim” agency confirmed the safety of the nuclear facilities in Isfahan, and said that they are “completely safe.”

It is noteworthy that Tehran had downplayed this attack in previous statements by its officials,

Residents Happy With The Doubling Of The Emmen-Klazienaveen…

#Residents #happy #doubling #EmmenKlazienaveen #road #Lights #turned #green

As far as residents are concerned, there may be some acceleration with the partial doubling of the N862. The municipality of Emmen went to Klazienaveen and Nieuw-Dordrecht this week with the final design for the redesign of the road between Emmen and Klazienaveen. Better to break ground today than tomorrow.

Tonight the municipality of Emmen held an information evening in the De Klink village hall in Nieuw-Dordrecht. Last night there was also a place in the De Zon sports hall in Klazienaveen. According to project manager Ronald Enrens, about 50 to 60 people came to Klazienaveen and generally people are positive.

In a sense, no surprise, because the Emmen-Klazienaveen road is no fun for road users during peak hours. Over a distance of just under 2.5 kilometers you will pass an intersection with traffic lights at Nieuw-Dordrecht and three roundabouts. At the busiest times there is a big car and truck polonaise.

In short, the flow had to be improved. After several years of puzzling and consultation with local residents and neighboring residents,

Senate Nears Approval Of $95.3 Billion Aid Package…

The recent move by the Senate to approve a $95.3 billion foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan marks a significant step in providing support to these nations. This package, which had been stalled for several months, gained bipartisan support and reflects the widespread backing in both parties.

To overcome opposition from right-wing Republicans in the House, Speaker Mike Johnson employed a convoluted plan to ensure the passage of this aid package. By dividing the package into three separate bills for each country and including a fourth bill with sanctions on Iran and a requirement for the sale of TikTok, Johnson was able to garner support from different coalitions and eventually merge these bills into one.

The final approval by the Senate, anticipated to occur on Tuesday night, will pave the way for President Biden to sign the bill.

A Breakdown of the Foreign Aid Package

Let’s take a closer look at what this comprehensive foreign aid package entails for each country:

$60.8 billion for Ukraine

Ukraine, in need of military funding, receives the largest portion of the package, amounting to $60.8 billion. A significant allocation aims to replenish American d efense stockpiles and provides funds for the acquisition of essential defense systems.
