In Perm, a criminal case was opened regarding the mass death of animals in one of the shelters (Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Perm residents filed allegations of ill-treatment of their wards to the Kirovsky district police department of the city, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Perm Territory reported.
Persons possibly involved in the activities of the organization for keeping animals were taken to the police department to clarify the circumstances of the incident. Expertise has been ordered. The animals were seized and transferred to the municipal shelter until a decision is made within the framework of the legislation of the Russian Federation. The investigation continues.
We are talking about the SSP “Antidoghanter” shelter, located on the street. Prichalnaya, 5. On January 11, in the telegram channel “Antidoghunter Help Perm,” animal rights activists stated that the shelter was abandoned. Some of the dogs and cats were already dead, the other part was barely alive. The animals were without water or food for a long time and began to eat their relatives. Activists began an urgent collection of help for animals. The owner of the shelter is Semyon Filippovsky.
