Now it’s really an official! Apple Intelligence finally arrives from European Union users with the new iOS 18.4 update.
Apple officially launched iOS 18.4, and with this update comes a long -awaited news by European users: the definitive availability of Apple Intelligence in the European Union.
After months of waiting due to legal restrictions imposed by the EU digital markets regulation, Apple has adjusted its systems and finally activated artificial intelligence features on the region’s iPhones and iPads.
So far, EU users have been prevented from accessing Apple Intelligence, regardless of the language or region’s region settings. With iOS 18.4, this limitation has disappeared, aligning European devices with the rest of the world.
You can already use Apple Intelligence in Europe

The features included include writing tools, which allow you to rewrite, correct or reformulate texts intelligently. It also has the cleaning feature in the photos, which removes unwanted objects; AI notifications summaries, which make the warnings more useful; and integration with chatgpt through the crab.
Additionally, users can create personalized emojis with Genmoji. Similarly, they can generate images with Image Playground and enjoy visual intelligence, which recognizes elements of the environment captured by the House.
To activate these features, users must update to iOS 18.4 through definitions> general> software update, and, after installation, confirm that Apple Intelligence is activated in the “Apple Intelligence and Siri” section. In many cases, this option already appears linked by defect after the update. However it is necessary to change the language to English, because the Siri within the AI continues not to support the Portuguese language.
The arrival of Apple Intelligence at the EU marks an important step in the global expansion of Apple AI functionality. However, the only exception remains China, where access is still blocked.
