Digitaltreff Petersberg: Basic course for everyday digital life
The basic course for everyday digital life as part of the Fulda district’s digital meetings imparts important knowledge about cell phones and the Internet. The course is aimed particularly at people who did not grow up with technology but would like to use the possibilities of the digital world.
In twelve appointments of 90 minutes each, various topics of everyday digital life are covered, such as setting up cell phone settings, Internet access, surfing and shopping on the Internet, messengers such as WhatsApp, useful apps for everyday life, home banking or health apps. The course also includes exchanges, questions and practical exercises on your own cell phone.
The aim of the course is for you to feel safe in the digital society and in everyday life and to be able to use new technology and the Internet competently.
The prerequisite for participation is ownership of your own cell phone (smartphone) and basic experience in using it – such as making telephone calls.
