VPD report a person dead after shooting incident Saturday morning

VICTORIA, Texas – Victoria Police are investigating a shooting that left one person hospitalized with serious injuries.
At around 1:10 a.m., VPD arrived at a business in the 2100 block of Lone Tree Road in response to reports of shots in the area.
Authorities found a person that had been shot, and they were sent to an area hospital for their injuries.
Police say this is an active investigation, and more details will be released when available.
They are requesting anyone with information to call the Victoria Crime Stoppers line at 361-572-4200 to place an anonymous tip.
