DALLAS, Texas — A 34-year-old man was fatally shot on Topeka Drive late Saturday night, according to the Dallas Police Department. The victim, identified as Joseph Jefferies, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred on October 14, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m. when Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2300 block of Topeka Drive. Dallas Fire Rescue also responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to Jefferies before his transport to the hospital.
