The Horizon-Pyrénées room in Muret is set to become a vibrant hub of musical theater on Saturday, May 17th, at 8:30 p.m. the highly anticipated show, The Most Beautiful Musicals, promises an evening of unforgettable performances, marking the second stop on The Musical Festival tour.

From Paris to the Provinces: A National Tour Begins

Following a prosperous debut in Paris at the Seine Musicale, the tour is expanding its reach across France. Nathan Guichet, the director and trainer behind the production, expressed his excitement about bringing the show to new audiences. In Muret, we are making the second date of our tour, Guichet stated, highlighting the importance of this provincial performance.

A Special Treat for Young Audiences: The Children’s Edition

Adding to the excitement, a specially adapted children’s version of the show will be presented in two exclusive sessions for schoolchildren the day before the main performance. This kid-amiable rendition features beloved Disney classics such as The Little Mermaid and Frozen, wich have captivated audiences in both Paris and on Broadway.

The Genesis of a Musical Dream: Influences and Inspirations

Guichet’s passion for musicals is deeply rooted in his childhood experiences. We, the artists, are above all fans of musicals. We all grew up wiht films like ‘Grease’, ‘Dirty Dancing’, ‘The Blues Brothers’… he explained. These iconic films of the 80s ignited a desire to bring similar stories to life on stage. The emergence of grand French productions like Starmania, Notre-Dame de Paris, and Romeo and Juliet further fueled his ambition.

Adding another layer of excitement, Nathan Guichet himself will be taking to the stage, reprising the role of Moses in The Ten Commandments. I am lucky to be able to play again, he shared, highlighting his passion for performing.
