Authorities confirmed the seizure of a high-powered arsenal, a dozen improvised explosives, tactical equipment and two vehicles, as a result of the investigations at the home where five alleged criminals were killed on Tuesday afternoon in the Urbivilla del Cedro neighborhood.
The operation was derived from the persecution of those responsible for the murder of the State Police agent, Fernando de Jesús Lagunes García.
According to the official report, the following was confirmed at the scene:
- 14 long weapons in total: 6 5.56×45 caliber rifles and 8 7.62×39 caliber rifles.
- 12 improvised explosive devices.
- 12 tactical vestsas well as magazines and cartridges.
- 2 vehicles: a KIA Seltos truck model 2021 and a Mazda 2 car, year 2024.
Everything secured was made available to the ministerial authority to continue with the investigation file. The State Attorney General’s Office continues working on the full identification of the killed individuals.
