A double from the French Kingsley Comanthe goal and the goal pass Joao Felix and the contribution of Cristiano Ronaldoin assistant mode, extended the plenary session in the Group stage of Al Nassr that defeated the Iraqi Al Zawraa (5-1), on the last day of the second Asian continental competition.
The clash, irrelevant to the aspirations of Jorge Jesus’ team, served to accentuate the dominance of Al Nassr, sitting in first place in the quartet and with qualification for the next round assured.
He Al Nasr, with nine points of advantage over the Al Zawraa, second and also in the next phase, finished first with six victories in as many games. Istiglol Dushanbe and Goa were eliminated.
Jorge Jesus’ team sealed the game in the first half. Coman opened the scoring with a pass from Angelo in the 12th minute and seven later it was Brazilian Wesley who scored the second.
The 3-0, at half an hour, was signed by Abdulelah Al Amri with a pass from Joao Felix who made the fourth, at the edge of the intermission, assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al Nassr rounded off the win with a new goal from Coman, in the 56th minute after receiving the ball from Saad AlNasser. Al Nassr will compete in the round of 32.
